VT Halmatic Win Innovation Award

The Seawork 2005 International Innovation Showcase, sponsored by Bond Pearce, attracted over 30 products in the commercial marine sector, which had all been launched in the last 12 months.
The Vessel Design & Construction category and the overall Seawork ‘Spirit of Innovation’ Trophy were conclusively won by VT Halmatic Shipbuilders for their 9m Halmatic Offshore Raiding Craft (HORC), claimed to be one of the most effective vessels for force protection and anti-terrorism operations.
Seb Freeman, Marketing Executive of VT Halmatic, said: “We’re delighted. And the Award came on a day when we exchanged contracts with PD Teesport and Falmouth Harbour Commissioners for two 16m pilot boats.”
