Gala Dinner

The spirit of Seawork was particularly reflected by the atmosphere of the Gala Dinner – now the commercial marine industry’s major social and networking event.
Held on the Tuesday evening of the exhibition at the St Mary’s Football Stadium, home of Southampton Football Club, it is has become an essential part of the Seawork experience. Preceded by a gin reception, the high quality three course dinner was enjoyed by 500+ guests.
The climax was a superb performance by after dinner speaker Adger Brown, who gave a master class in comedy and off-the-wall humour. A collection in support of the RNLI raised over £1320.
