Pontoon Perspective

For three days only, a unique fleet of vessels gather in Southampton Water.

One of the most popular attractions of Seawork is its combination of exhibition stands, expert conference papers, annual meetings of industry associations and pontoons packed with the very latest in vessel design and propulsion, all in one place.

This year the 60 plus vessels on the pontoons include a 26m ‘Shoalbuster’ Tug from Damen Shipyard, two 6m ‘Nordic Sea Hunters’ from Fusion Marine, a 7m Catamaran from Cheetah Marine, an 8.5 metre Rib from RIBQuest, a 10m catamaran from Blythe Workcats, and two aluminium ‘Catfish’ Catamarans from Pepe Boat Sales. VT Halmatic will be bringing six vessels including the 32m ‘Spirit of Portsmouth’ ferry and a 7.8m ‘Pacific 24 RIB’ built
for the Royal Navy.
