Gala Dinner Success for RNLI

The Seawork2004 International/ZF Marine Gala Dinner was a huge success. St Mary’s Stadium was, once again, filled to capacity with more than 500 Seawork exhibitors and their guests coming together for a relaxed evening of entertainment and networking opportunities. A collection on behalf of the RNLI raised almost £1500. Regional Manager Sally Hilton sent this letter of thanks...

Dear Jane Thank you so much for helping save lives at sea and allowing us to do a collection at the Seawork dinner. Your delegates were obviously enjoying themselves as they donated £1492, plus a selection of foreign currency which we can also use.

This is a great sum and will kit out a crew member on one of our all-weather lifeboats with gloves, boots, trousers, jacket, helmet and a lifejacket. Thank you so much.

With the help of people like you, our volunteer crews rescued 7815 people last year, an average of 21 every day.

Thank you for saving lives at sea and supporting our volunteer crews. Yours sincerely, Sally Hilton (Regional Manager)
