John Haynes is a Commercial Yachtmaster Ocean (since 1983) and Advanced Powerboat Instructor. He is based in Christchurch on the South Coast of England and retains a great respect for the English Channel. His experience includes the North Sea, Biscay, the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas and Atlantic. He is the Managing Director of Shock Mitigation Limited which is dedicated to reducing injuries to RIB & High Speed Craft operators by training, consultancy and product development. For the past year he has worked closely with the team at Skydex Technologies on the development on a range of boat decking products for this sector.
