Recently delivered from Cheetah was a 7.9m survey vessel for the Saudi Ports Authority with trailer and lorry. Survey equipment fitted was extensive including a Reason Seabat 8125 multibeam echo sounder, navisound single beam echosounder, a SVP 14 sound velocity probe, a Trimble MS 860 Trimtalk 450s RTK positioning system and a Sea Otter ROV. SPA SURVEYOR 1 travels to survey sites at a maximum speed of 25knots with the Honda 90hp engines and carries out survey work at 8knots. |
