Buckie Shipyard Limited offers a wide ranging capability including repair, conversion, outfitting and refitting of all types of vessels including workboats, ferries, tugs, cargo vessels, cruise vessels, fish farm, fishing vessels as well as MoD and RNLI craft.
Employing a total of 66 craftsmen, the firm has the facilities and skills to repair vessels in steel, aluminium, GRP and wood.
The main slipway can accommodate vessels of up to 850 tonnes x 70 metres in length with side slip berths for vessels up to 500 tonnes. We also have fully covered facilities where vessels of 22 metres in length and 9 metres in breadth can be worked upon.
We have a new repair and refit facility with controlled atmosphere paint facility capable of taking vessels 22 m x 6m up to 50 tonnes. |
