Babcock MEF, part of the Babcock International Group is a marine specialist company based in Southampton. As well as its various long term Ministry of Defence and commercial sector contracts in ship repair and support one of our primary services is the design, construction, installation and maintenance of the "Flexi Dock" versatile docking system.
Originally developed to provide a landing area for the Royal Marines Base in Hamworthy, Dorset that would afford flexibility in design, serviceability and low maintenance cost. The design has now been further developed from class complaint units to also include a light weight version to meet all applications and requirements. |
